Profile
My name is K (Kay), nice to meet you. I am a male in my 30s working as a company employee. I started forex in 2016 because I wanted to have financial freedom and free time. However, because of the high leverage, I quickly melted 200,000 yen and gave up on putting large amounts of money on the market. After that, I practiced with small amounts, but I could not get good at it, no matter how much I tried.
I was on a long journey in search of the holy grail that is Forex, buying trading materials and looking for indicators that can help me win.
Changed my mindset
He tried various methods, losing money and changing my ways. I had to cut my losses tightly, but I was losing money quickly and reducing my funds, albeit by small amounts. Even though the risk reward was not that good, the win rate was about 20-30%. I can say with confidence that there is probably no one who is worse at trading than I am.
What changed my mind was a famous Japanese trader's words, “A trader is a technical person".If a trader is a technical person, I have to practice hard.
Away from real trading, practicing with software
I purchased Forex Tester6 to practice on past charts. But, I couldn't win at all. But I didn't give up. I repeated the cycle of practice → study → practice → study... and after about 60 years in the software world, I was able to win consistently.
Current situation
The fact that I'm now able to win is merely a result of past simulations. Also, I'm stuck on the market all day. It's too risky to suddenly quit my job and do this. Therefore, I need to apply this to the real world, within the time constraints of being an office worker, so I'm still exploring how to do it.
What I want to convey in thit blog
I am not yet winning in real trading, but I would like to tell everyone that practicing FX can have a dramatic effect. Also, while practicing, I noticed that there were few blogs that posted the results of their practice. I had a hard time checking whether the trades I lost were correct losses or whether I entered when I shouldn't have. I don't think my trades are correct, but in this world, if you win, it's justice. I believe that if I'm making a profit, it's OK, and I would like to post the results of my practice.
